About

Boundary Ridge began in Medford, Oregon, with an observation more than a plan: in almost every therapy office, clinic, and treatment room I'd been in, the art on the walls was chosen because the location liked it — not because anyone had thought about the person sitting across from it.

That felt like a missed opportunity. A room does something to the body before a single word is spoken in it. It can calm a nervous system or keep it on edge. It can make ten minutes of waiting feel like rest, or like one more thing to get through. In a world that's loud and fast by default, I wanted to make something that pushes back — quietly.

So every image in this collection is chosen for what it does in a room, not just how it looks. Still water, old light, drifting mist, worn earth — the kind of scenes that slow a person down just by looking at them. Each piece is shot on location across the Pacific Northwest, then edited and printed one at a time, with that same question in mind: does this settle something, or does it just decorate?

Boundary Ridge is a one-person studio, built slowly and with real intention — for therapy offices and treatment rooms first, and for any home or space that's asking for the same kind of quiet.
